Linking data is achieved by assigning a URI to each value in a dataset, and then creating sentences describing the relationship between two values.
Relevance in LinkedGov
LinkedGov's purpose is to create a usable body of clean, linked UK government data.
By linking a table of potholes with their road names to the postcodes which correspond to those roads, we can then find the potholes by both the road names and the postcodes.
